Betweenness centrality for a weighted network?

Hi

I have imported a link table as an undirected network to the Gephi in order to measure the Betweenness centrality (BC) of the nodes. In this network all the links are weighted and the weights are doubles values between 0 and 1 and it is actually very common that the links have a value of 0.

When I am applying the BC metrics, it looks to me that Gephi is not considering the weights of the links in calculating the metric. And so the results may shows the nodes that are not connected to other nodes (weight=0), with high BC.

Could you advise me whether the weights of links are also considered in BC metric and if so how much the weights are influential?
