Hiding node labels when node is small

Postby pegerp » 14 May 2013 17:19

Is there a way to hide node labels in the Gephi Toolkit when a node size is small?

Small nodes cause problems when the small labels start overlapping with neighbouring node labels. The problem is illustrated in the image below. It'd be great if it was possible to hide labels that are smaller than a given threshold value.

Actually the image is exported from desktop Gephi version, so the same feature would be nice there as well. However I'm looking for Gephi Toolkit solution.

Hmm, I guess all nodes could be traversed and the label removed if the node size is smaller than a given threshold value. Bad thing is that it removes the label altogether. Copying the label column could help with that. Let's see...
