Problem loading edges TimeInterval from CSV

Postby sergiocabrero » 05 Sep 2013 10:39

Hello,

First of all, congrats for the tool, it is very useful.

I have a problem importing dynamic data from a CSV file. I have over 40000 edges that change over a year. I've formatted the input (around 500MB) so it can be imported by Gephi. However, when I import it I get just 601 edges in Gephi. If I remove the first line that was not loaded from the CSV file, it will import around 2000 more edges, and I can remove the next line and it will load more.

So there are some lines that Gephi doesn't like and just stops importing. I have checked formats and measure line sizes, and make guess is that there is a maximum limit in the number of TimeIntervals for an edge. This is the first line that makes it stop, it doesn't even load if I try to import it separately: http://pastebin.com/u5JUf5rR

Any other guesses? Any idea how to solve it?

Kind regards,
Sergio

I was able to solve it putting my data into a enormous GEXF file. It took a while, but it seems that all the data edges are loaded now.
