how to load gdf files to gephi

Postby shooter61 » 04 Nov 2013 16:15

I am at the very beginning stage of using the program.

I have a data set which is located on a website.

When I open the site and save it, it seems as a dxf file and opens with notepad.

however I do not know how to import a gxef or gdf file to gephi?

can you explain how can I open the given network in Gephi?

the file is attached.

Thanks!

Hi,

You should remove the ".txt" extension in the name of your file. Then, select File -> Open Graph from Gephi, and try to locate your " gnutella2.gdf" file.

Best,

Clement
