How do I export a graph attribute to a GEXF file?

Postby npkorsv » 30 Mar 2014 19:20

I want to be able to store the type of graph I am working on as a graph attribute and write it to a gexf file, but I am having problems doing so. Essentially, I do the following:

Code: Select all
attributeModel.getGraphTable().addColumn(
graphModel.getGraph().getAttributes().setValue("Overlay Type", Overlay.Type.DISSEMINATION)

However, when export the graph to a gexf file using the ExporterGEXF class, this attribute is not written to file.

Is there a way to do this properly?

Hi,

Seems like the new attribute column is not added to the graph model.
I'd look at these code samples for alternative ways:
